COLLEAGUE // UX/UI Design for platform
I worked on this project on a 6-month contract basis as a part of my Master’s Capstone in partnership with the Education Lab of UW, in a group of 4 Human-Centered Designers (2 researchers / 2 designers).
Colleague is a project initiated by the EPAL (Education Policy & Analytics Lab) on the College of Education at UW, and funded by the NSF (National Science Foundation). The project uses big data and machine learning to support K-12 teachers to help them find high-quality lesson plans for the specific needs of each classroom.
My role:
UX/UI designer
Research: supported user interviews, surveys, co-design sessions, usability testing, analysis of insights, competitive analysis.
Planning: lead persona creation, context scenarios, user flows
Design: lead hi-fi mockups, interactive prototype, video prototype
Graphic design: lead style guide, brand
Timeframe: 6 months
